2014 Woodcut Media Announce Production of Royal Doc Special Kate Middleton – Heir We Go Again!

WOODCUT MEDIA’S DOC SPECIAL
KATE MIDDLETON: HEIR WE GO AGAIN! TO BE UNVEILED DURING MIPCOM 2014

DOCUMENTARY TO BE PRESENTED TO BUYERS BY TCB MEDIA RIGHTS

Tuesday 7th October, 2014 – UK based Woodcut Media is currently in production on a one-off special documentary Kate Middleton: Heir We Go Again! which celebrates the second pregnancy of the Duchess of Cambridge.

The documentary will be presented to buyers for the first time during the upcoming Mipcom 2014 by worldwide distributors TCB Media Rights.

Kate Middleton: Heir We Go Again! (1 x 60 mins) provides a definitive guide to the next great Royal birth. With Kate being one of the most watched women in the world – from her acute morning sickness, to juggling pregnancy with motherhood, to which designers she’ll pick to spark maternity mania, this film explores it all!

Closely spaced siblings are a royal tradition so with Kate and William’s first son George born just over a year ago and in line to be King, the documentary will also take a look at the implications for their next child. How will he or she get on with their sibling? Will there be a bond or rivalry? What would happen if Prince George ever abdicated? Would this child being a ‘spare heir’ have more freedom to live their life?

The special will feature contributions from expert commentators, journalists and figures closest to the Royal Family such as Katie Nichol, Andrew Morton, Dickie Arbiter and Diana’s ex-bodyguard, Ken Wharf.

Kate Middleton: Heir We Go Again! is produced by Cheryl Gibbs (A Royal Arrival, Prince George at One, William and Kate – Baby Makes Three) and executive produced by Derren Lawford, Woodcut Media.

“Kate and Woodcut Media are rising stars, and with this appealing young royals project we can get our new relationship off to a flying start. I get the feeling there’ll be many more shows to come and we hope TCB will be working in tandem with Woodcut across everything from the earliest stage to give these great ideas their best and widest audience possible,” said Paul Heaney, Managing Director, TCB Media Rights.
“We are confident this documentary will attract a global audience as the British Royal family is one of the most recognised families in the world. With Kate Middleton and Prince William constantly in the public eye, this documentary will offer viewers a unique perspective on Kate’s journey as she deals with her second pregnancy, whilst looking after Prince George. It also explores the potential dynamics and implications for the new sibling when he or she finally arrives,” added Kate Beal, CEO & Joint Creative Director, Woodcut Media.
