Monday 5th October 2015 – Woodcut Media today announces its commission to produce Around the World in 80 Tricks (10 x 60’), an international street magic show for new global UHD channel, INSIGHT.

The ten-part series will follow fresh magic talents Magical Bones and Pete Heat as they travel across Europe and Asia showcasing their trademark trickery.

Magical Bones is a former professional break dancer who combines his love of street dance and culture with street magic. While Pete Heat, dubbed the “rock and roll” magician by NME, uses his love of stand-up comedy to produce amusing and amazing tricks.

Each episode will see either Magical Bones or Pete Heat explore different cities steeped in the history of street magic and performance. Along the way, from Seoul to Barcelona, Mumbai to Manchester, the magicians will demonstrate their unique styles of magic on the unsuspecting public, local performers and celebrities.

With its combination of pure entertainment, juxtaposed with cultural immersion and discovery, Around the World in 80 Tricks will be more than just a traditional magic show. Through the use of interactive ‘show and tell’ video content, the magicians will reveal tips and secrets on magic viewers can perform and practice at home.
