THIRD SEASON OF WOODCUT MEDIA’S CRIME SERIES

BRITAINS MOST EVIL KILLERS AND WORLD’S MOST EVIL KILLERS GREENLIT

Worldwide Distributors Keshet International to Present to Buyers during MIPTV

For Immediate Release:

London –Thursday 22nd March 2018 – Woodcut Media has finalised a deal to produce a third season of the hit true crime series Britain’s Most Evil Killers (10 x 60’) and its international counterpart World’s Most Evil Killers (10 x 60’).  Season three is scheduled to TX in the UK on free-to-air channel Pick in 2019.

Britain’s Most Evil Killers and World’s Most Evil Killers delve into the gripping real-life stories of the world’s most terrifying and prolific killers. From Ted Bundy to Aileen Wuornos, Robert Black to Gary Ridgway- The Green River Killer. Each episode focuses on one notorious killer and features authentic first-hand accounts of their behaviour, from the detectives who worked on the case, journalists who reported on the stories, relatives and at times survivors, alongside series experts who provide analysis on each gripping story.

Criminologists, crime journalists, authors and psychologists examine how and why each killer made headlines both nationally and internationally and why they still continue to evoke fear and fascination in the public eye.  The gripping series retells each shocking tale using a combination of compelling interviews, narration, archive footage and stylized reconstruction.

The deal was brokered for Pick by Acquisitions Manager Sophie Judge and both series will be distributed internationally by Keshet International who will be presenting to buyers during the upcoming MIPTV.

“We have been focused on creating true crime documentaries that are capable of delivering great ratings and are repeatable for broadcasters and this series definitely delivers!  Pick has been a great platform for this genre and recommissioning a third season speaks for itself,” said Kate Beal, CEO, Woodcut Media.
