WOODCUT MEDIA TAPS FORMER PHOENIX FOUNDING PARTNER MILES JARVIS AS DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE PARTNERSHIPS

London/Hampshire, Monday 11th May 2026 – Indie prodco Woodcut Media has appointed multi-award winning TV executive Miles Jarvis to the newly created position of Director of Creative Partnerships, effective immediately.

In his new position (and working closely with Woodcut’s CEO, Kate Beal), Miles will focus on developing existing, and new IP across broadcast, digital, and live events, as well as creating licensing and merchandising opportunities.

With a career that spans 25 years, Miles joins Woodcut Media following 9 years as co-founding partner of indie prodco Phoenix Television.  Recognised for innovative, high-quality linear and digital series across multiple genres, notable credits include international hit doc series such as Royal Autopsy (for Sky History –and RTS winner ‘Best Factual Series’), and When Missing Turns to Murder (for NETFLIX, and ‘highly-commended’ at the True Crime Awards 2024) and Cut To The Crime, two 10-part digital series for Hearst.

Prior to Phoenix Television, Miles was Executive Producer at ITV Studios (7 years) where he created and exec produced numerous factual, factual entertainment, and reality series as well as ITV’s flagship daytime programme, This Morning.

Miles has strong relationships with leading broadcasters and streamers,  creating and executive producing award-winning series across multiple genres (specialist factual, crime, factual entertainment and reality), for the BBC, ITV, Discovery, Hearst, UKTV, Radial, True Crime Network, NETFLIX, and many more.
